BOO!

I hope I picked up enough candy, there are 111 small candy bars in this apple
basket. Last year I gave out around 80 and shut everything off. Then I saw
a river of lights coming down the road, there had to be at least 30 more. I was
lucky to have enough, but it was close. I still have a couple of unopened bags
in case we need them.
I don’t know how they find us, we’re
at the end of a dead end street, way off the beaten path. My brother says
a smart kid can sniff out the last candy bar in a 5 mile radius.

We have a young fella who is diabetic.  He loves exploring nature. So this
year he’s getting a Venus Flytrap.  I should get one for myself. I love these
things.

I’m trying to get everything ready for tomorrow’s Halloween Night.
The Trick or Treaters have a long walk to my door. And as the years
have gone by they anticipate a spooky walk. Actually I think it’s the Dads
not the kids.
We had a lot of wet stormy weather, so I couldn’t do the lights. Then the
high winds yesterday delayed hanging a lot of the skeletons. But today
despite the winds and the cold I got some of them up.  Tomorrow is supposed
to be very mild and I’ll be able to complete the job.

Halloween is so much fun.  I think I get a bigger charge out of it than the
youngsters.   I’ll have much better pictures tomorrow.
I love this silly feeling.
